Hi Guys,

I'm looking to put iOS5b6 on a device which currently has 4.3 on it.
Now, I haven't backed up the device, and I won't have access to it. (I've got a new MacBook since backing up).
So, could I install iOS5 on this device, then back up all that data to iCloud?

Or will iOS5 delete everything, and start a new phone?

Thanks.

I would not recommend upgrading to iOS 5 beta unless you are going to start developing apps, and in that case I would restore as new from the .ipsw file. I'm pretty sure that's the only way, as Apple has disabled restoring to 4.x.x when upgrading to iOS 5.
