This keeps happening. My iphone (3G) has got like 75% charge when I go to bed. I plug it in via USB to my G4 iBook (running tiger). I order it not to sleep, and I turn the brightness all the way down. I sleep. I wake up, and the iphone's at like 20% charge.

Any idea what's happening here? I tried putting the iphone in airplane mode before charging, but that didn't help.

Note: when I charge it overnight plugged into the wall, I wake up to a fully charged phone.
