Would be nice though if there was an option you could turn on that once you had the Airpods connected via bluetooth to your iPhone... if you walked away a certain distance from them somehow your iPhone would sound an alarm or vibration to let you know you were leaving them behind.

How is it expected that we aren't going to lose these things once they are put to use.

I assume they come with a charging case that holds and charges them and fits in your pocket, much like other wireless headphones like the Bragi Dash.

They come with Apple Glue. Never lose them once the ear skin grows over them.
