losing service

my iPhone keeps losing service and I'm not able to reconnect until I restore the iPhone to factory settings. any ideas what's going on?

Have you tried to restore/jailbreak again?

it's working again after doing the restore - but I've had this phone for over a year and I've never had this problem. Now it's happened twice in the last week. What's wrong?

I really don't know man!
Mine does that too btw, every two weeks or so I have no service! I have to restart my iPhone two or three times to work fine.
