Losing sound notifications in Mail

Hi guys,

I upgraded Apple Mail to 2.1 the other day and since then, sound notification hasn't worked at all. When I go into the preferences pane and choose the sounds, they play fine but when I receive emails, nothing happens.

Any help greatly appreciated,

I just realized that I too have lost sound in mail. All other system sounds are fine. Any thoughts?

Well, assuming all the settings in Mail's Preferences are correct, then try opening and closing Garageband to reset some Audio MIDI settings. 🙂
