I have a folder that I created months ago; it contains image files. I access it daily. Suddenly, I can't get into it via the Finder. I can access it, for example, from Word when I wish to insert an image into document. Beyond that, starting today, I cannot access it. I receive a message:

Clearly, I've done something, but I have no idea what. Could someone please help me? I'd like to gain access to my folder.

Seems like there is so many issues with Catalina.

Hopefully you can get this figured out.

I'd try the following, in this order
- restart Finder
- Get Info on the folder and see what it thinks it is
- list the enclosing folder in the Terminal to see the UNIX attributes

you could try this in your Terminal - let's say "Big Pictures" is on your desktop (you will need the actual path)

$ cd ~/Desktop <enter>
$ cd Big\ Pictures <enter>
$ open . <enter>

this will cause the Big Pictures folder to open in the Finder. Does that work?
