I'm on a 2012 Mac Pro (10.13.16 on APFS SSD) with GTX 780 6GB from MVC. I've had the card a few years now and have had boot screens until recently. Now monitor stays black until login window. Any ideas on how to get it back? Thanks

Have you tried connecting your monitor to a different port, and checked all your cabling, adaptors & connectors?

Here are two other things that would cause such a problem: Have you changed your display to one that is 4k or connected the monitor through DisplayPort >1.1? Also, perhaps you could make sure that in System Report, under Graphics/Displays, the card still identifies as "MacVidCards."

Thanks for your replies. It is indeed a 4K display over DP 1.2. I switched the monitor to 1.1 and got boot screens back. Thank you!
