Lost Documents Folder after iCloud sync

These are some of the problems with Apple.
iCloud has lots and lots of bugs that remain unfixed after more than a decade which is why so many Apple fans are ever more frustrated with their once beloved vendor.

Apple hasn't had "just works" in years. It's just an alternative to Microsoft.

And to be fair, I'd much rather use mac os over Windows. It has its glitches and odd quirks (many many odd quirks),but still a lot better user experience than Windows.

I was so super annoyed at the absurdity of Apple's thinking behind the syncing Mac on icloud that I went off on one 😂

But, Apple, why why why can we just not sync our Macs and still keep the folders on the Mac!!!

You can keep the folders on the Mac and synced to other devices if you just disable "optimise". That would require enough HD space.

Thanks mva68. But are you sure? Most folk have said this is not possible. But I will take a look again tomorrow to see if it's possible.

Where would I find the "Optimise" option?
