Hi Guys,

I'm lost, checked Google but see a lot of different answers.
I have around 200 GB on pictures, my macbook has 128 GB (using 10.10).

What I would like to do, is to store my files in to the iCloud drive. What i'm wondering is if it's also stored locally or acts as a online harddrive.

I'm also using a Windows computers will it be synced (which I really don't want).

Hopefully someone can clarify this.

Thank you

For a Mac it's both. Duplicate files are also stored in your Library folder. Not sure how it works on Windows.

Thank you for helping me out but what i'm wondering. Will iCloud Drive save my local space or will it be default mirror everything on my mac?
