lost 'downloads' folder on toolbar

I have lost my downloads folder on my toolbar, and I would like to have it back.
I can OPEN the file, but not leave the folder IN the bar.
Can someone help this idiot, please/

It's called the Dock.

Macintosh HD, Users, yourname, drag the folder called Downloads to the right side of the Dock. Voila.

Toolbar... *shudder*
