I have several apps that reply on the iPhone GPS. I'm running 2.1 on a 3G and all apps functioned perfectly for a couple days after installation. Then two days after installing 2.1, my phone stopped recognizing its location. This problem has lasted at least 30 hrs. I have no idea if this is related to 2.1. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!

On mine, I found I had to turn off wifi to get the GPS to lock on to my location. Once it did, though, I could turn wifi back on. It's a silly PITA, but it worked for me.

Thnx for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it's a no go, WI-FI on or off!

Thanx, Golgo--the reboot did it! All up & running again. :)

I upgraded and since then about every other time i try to find my location it freezes and says cannot find location! hopefully they will come out with a fast upgrade with quick fixes!

Golgo's suggestion to reboot works. But what a pain.
