Updated to TvOS13 and restarted my Apple TV and now I’ve lost the previews for both movies and tv. What I mean is if I move between the movie and tv buttons on the home screen , before there would be a row of suggested movies/tv shows listed horizontally on screen. Now the are empty and just have the text, movies or tv. Restarted a few times, signed out and back in. No change...

I'm experiencing this as well, haven't figured out a cause or solution yet..

I was having this exact problem on 2 out of the 4 I own. I tried logging out & back in to no avail.
This worked on My ATV 4 as well as ATV 4K.
Hover over the movie app & click & hold the track pad until the movie app starts shaking.
Drag down 1 or 2 rows & click track pad to place on that row. Repeat process to move it back to top row & it should update.

omg..that worked!

It actually annoyed me that I literally just did a full reset...and they were working. Did a reboot to see if they would keep working...and they were back to no previews...lol. But the move trick you mentioned has them working again...

This was driving me crazy. You suggestion worked! Don‘t know how you figured it out, but thanks!
