I have an issue where all my sent items pre mid-2024 (2012 - 2024) in my iCloud.com email address have disappeared.
This is across all devices and on the iCloud.com webmail account. I have raised this with apple on a number of occasions including most recently in the last week and their response has been: 'we have a restore button but if this doesn't work, there is nothing more we can do'.
When challenged to investigate what has happened to my data, supposedly stored on iCloud, the service advisor said that apple have no responsibility for my personal data and would not investigate what has happened to my data even if it was an error on their part.
Has anyone else had this issue? I'd welcome any ideas for how to pursue this further!
I probably have an old backup somewhere but their response frankly was pretty shocking given I've been paying for them to safely 'store' my data online.
