I found an iphone 6 on the bus. I call the number on it so the owner can come pick it up. But for unknown reason she refuses to pick it up. She thinks I'll require a huge reward for it which I reassured her is not the case or that I might jump her. Whatever. Strange but true.

I then call Apple and I tell them the story. They call and leave a message on her phone. She never calls them back. This happened a month ago. So I'm stuck with this phone and dont know what to do with it. How would be able to use it if its under her name? Or how can I sell it?

According the the posters history, his only other post is how to bypass an iCloud locked device a few months back.
Suggest the topic gets locked before this turns ugly. 🙄

That thread was about this phone. I just wanted to create a thread giving a more specific history as to this phone.

If she is scared to pick the phone up from you, she should be ok to pick it up from the police
Or is that a problem for you?

Sounds like you're trying to make excuses to keep something that doesn't belong to you. I'm not buying your nonsense story.
And No you cannot use or sell someone else's property unless you want to end up in jail.
Bring it to your local police department or end up there in handcuffs if you try to keep or sell stolen property.

Its not a problem for me to take it to the coplice precinct. But she really doesnt want the phone. Why would I give it to the police if she refuses the phone? Apple Care even phoned and left her a message. I call Apple back 4 times to get an update and they said she hasnt answered their messages. Like I said very strange.
