I tried to go to the useless Apple Help site but you need your device's serial # in order to get help. I lost my iTouch and iTunes does not display it. I went thru Windows Explorer to try to locate the folder but no luck at all, no luck in iTunes either.

Do I need to purchase another iTouch to get the data, some how cut/paste it to a different document and then return the device for a refund? I AM SOO DONE withe the iTouch as a PDA.

If anyone has a real solution to my problem, I could really use your help. THANKS!

sorry to break it to ya' but i think you are pretty much screwed as the data in an ipod cannot really be "retrieved" unlike an iphone where you can just transfer sim cards. i might be wrong but thats just my 2 cents.

Umm. it was STOLEN. And the Notes are not backed up when you sync... What did you expect? If your phone was stolen you can't magically get your contacts back.
