lost iTunes library by updating

i updated iTunes to the new version and when i opened up itunes everything was gone. my music applications videos.
anyone have any ideas on what happened and how i can fix it?

try pressing option when you startup iTunes and then choose your Library which is the iTunes folder in your Music folder.
