lost iTunes music

Hi,
Is there a secret to finding lost music in iTunes i downloaded an album and somehow upgraded software and lost quite alot, i only need to find 1 album as the others are all burnt to disc can anyone help me to find it?

If the music is still on your computer, but simply gone from your library, telling iTunes to open your iTunes music folder will help it find lost songs. Don't worry about duplicates - iTunes won't duplicate what's already there, since you're just telling iTunes to add anything in its library that it doesn't already know about.

Thanks, i cant find them in the iTunes music folder, not really sure where else they could have gone🙁

This once happened to me when I installed a new version of iTunes and iPhoto from iLife '05. All my pictures and music was gone and I couldnt find it anywhere!

Do a search for ".m4p" (protected AAC file). If the files are still there, that'll find them.
