iPod Lost library . System recovery

My whole computer was restored loosing all my songs on my computer and when I try to sync songs it wants me to erase my iPod and sync with my. New library with no songs. When I plug my iPod in it shoes all the songs on it is there someway I could get those to download to my computer so I could erase and put them back on? iPod touch and windows xp thanks

there are utilities that will copy the music on the iPod to the computer. senutil is the one for Mac, but I'm sure there are some for PC.
