lost music artist in iOS6 upgrade

Not sure if this is an itunes or iOS music player issue, but one artist is no longer listed under artist. The songs are still there under album, and if I search in the music player it shows up as an artist, but its not there when I scroll through the artist list. I tried right click, get info, and changing the artist name again, but that didn't help.

Any thoughts?
