Lost my Iphone 4 in house, what to do?

Lost the damn thing inside my house lol. Been gone for 2-3 days now. Got everyone to look for it...hopefully it will turn up. Thankfully i had a warranty and the new iphone is coming out, so hopefully best buy will just give me another 4 because of those two things. Plus my iphone was dead, so no find my iphone.
but, any suggestions on how to go about this? wait for my iphone to appear? wait for 4s to come out so they may give me another 4? very annoyed at how this all went down./rant /last hope thread
Have you looked inbetween your couch, under your bed, or in your drawers? Oh yea, you'll probably find it when you get your new iPhone.. never fails lol.

I remember that thread. So what's the rest of the story. How did you get it back? I'm really curious.
I too have misplaced mine somewhere in this huge very cluttered house. It has no phone SIM, so I can't call it. But I can see it on my wireless router.
In my dreams there's some wifi app that I can run on my laptop which shows some signal strength of all wifi devices (not that I expect much from a sleeping iPhone 3Gs). So I could walk around the house watching for increase/decrease of signal strength. Push email is not enabled, so I'm not sure what I can poke into the phone to make it more active.
Constructive suggestions would be really welcome (but I'm ducking from the inevitable silly ones like telling me to search for it, not lose it in the first place, install some app on it, buy a new one, ...).
