Lost my iPhone 4 today

I've already accepted that I will never see it again. So I've pre-ordered a new one at my local AT&T store.

I also checked possible shipping dates and according to Apple.com it's 3 weeks from now. Holy Cow!!!

I forget, does SquareTrade cover loss?

Man that sucks. That's why I liked having findmyI on my jailbroken phone.
 
SquareTrade does NOT, but SafeWare does. Don't know what the policy is on the time of purchase vs. the time of loss, but I do know that a police report must be filed as proof that it has been lost or stolen.

Ah screw it. I'll just eat the $736.66

Another question, with the new iPhone 4 do I have to get another SquareTrade warranty?
 
Sorry for your loss. My iPhone is either in my hand, in my holster or pocket, or charging on my night stand. I see people all the time laying their phone down on tables and walking off. I don't understand.

I love how this conversation went from you loosing your iPhone 4 to how good Karate Kid was haha.

Sorry to hear about the lost phone. I'm waiting on white and am definitely getting insurance that covers this cause I've been really good with my 3G iPhone, I just feel like this time something's going to happen!

3 weeks? I just ordered one from AT&T in one of their stores and they told me that they're supposed to say we'll get it in 5-7 business days but the sales lady said they've been getting them in 2-3 days. FYI - she told me this *after* I purchased the phone so it wasn't a sales pitch.
