After months of lurking, I was hoping my first post wouldn't be me asking for help, but I'm pretty desperate.
Okay, so I have a Rev. D 2.2ghz whitebook that needs to be restored. Long story short, I passed an incomplete terminal command in single user mode and deleted all users, including root. Normally, I'd just pop in the install disks, but I can't seem to find them. I use my macbook to do a lot of sequencing stuff, and have a show tomorrow night, so I really can't wait for apple to ship me new disks. The closest apple store is about 7 hours away.
My question is, if I were to buy a retail copy of Leopard, could I do a clean install there? I have backups of everything except the OS itself on an external drive.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
