Hello all, long story short.

About a week ago my 2010 13" Macbook Pro wouldn't load up, when I turn it on, I get a grey screen with an Apple logo and a progress bar that resets it self then turns off.

Luckily I have a windows partition and have managed to cope with that for now, but I would like to get my mac side working again.

Now here is the kicker, I have lost my install discs and would like a bit of help.

If I just went out to the shop and bought This.

Would it be as if i had just put in the discs I got when I bought my macbook in the first place? and fingers crossed would be back to working condition, or do i need some other form of discs?

When I got the laptop it was on 10.6.3 and I think it is currently 10.6.5. -if that makes any difference.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
