Hi, I have a 2009 13" MBP which came with the old software. I did the $10 upgrade when the new software came out. I recently moved and cannot seem to find the CD apple sent me with the new software :S. My computer has been having random issues lately and the guy at the apple store told me to re-install the software.

Will apple send me a new disk or will I have to pay full price for it? has anyone had this experience with losing the software disk??

Thanks :D,

If their records show your purchase they may well just send you another disk. Whether they charge you the standard shipping and handling fee will depend on if the person on the other end of the phone is having a good day.

The install disk that shipped with our Mac was defective. I called Apple, and they shipped replacement disks free of charge, with out hesitation. You should call the Apple support number.
