If you never saw it, a trans-Pacific flight, hits severe turbulence and crashes on an island, 48 survivors find themselves on a very mysterious island, they all have pasts which through flashbacks are sampled. This is so good! It’s when I fell in love with Bad Robot, before JJ screwed the pooch with StarWars. 🤔

I got to season 3 back in the day. I plan to start all over soon, and watch all of it, as I quite enjoyed it back then. Fortunately I never managed to spoil the ending for myself on the Internet, other than knowing that people thought it was bad, so there's something (bad) to look forward to!

Just need to finish S3 of Picard, and The Martian Chronicles.

Loved it. Was drawn to it by JJ Abrams's involvement, and wasn't disappointed. The ending was...different than I would have written it, but hey, that's me.

The series was awesome... until the last season, which felt rushed/not thought out. The ending in particular was just so awfully disappointing.
The “ending explained” link in the first post might help. It could have been a situation where they painted themselves into a corner without enough time to get out. :) Yes, I too was underwhelmed with the series ending.
The first season is prime intrigue.

Hurly sees mug shot, and is worried. Sawyer looks for goodies on the airplane. Jack looks for medicine on the airplane. John Locke tells Walt a miracle happened to him. Because of his dire injury and suffering, Agent wants Kate to kill him. Sawyer volunteers, shoots him, but it does not kill him right away. Jack is pissed. Michael is Walt’s Dad. John makes a whistle and find’s Walt’s dog, but let’s Michael give it to him. Tension between Korean couple, he is controlling.
  • E4 Walk About: Something in the airplane fuselage- -pigs. All the food is eaten. Locke suggests hunting pigs. Locke flash back, he’s crippled, but going on a Walk About in Australia. In Australia he is denied his trip, and is on the plane returning to the US. He views being on the island and being able to walk as a miracle. Locke, Kate, Michael go pig hunting. I'd have been happy if the show had run five seasons, and the way the fifth ended on screen was quite fitting.

But, in the same vein as a certain famous HBO show, that kind of thing bothers a lot of people.
