I just saw a commercial for Oceanic Air on ABC. It was presented as though it was a real airline and at the end directed viewers to the www.oceanic-air.com website. Has anyone else seen this ad?

ha! that's funny. 'course i haven't seen them since the only thing i watch on abc is Lost...which means i'm not watching.

i am impressed at the many ways they've tried to maintain interest in the show while in the off season though i'm afraid they're just appealing to "Lost Geeks" like us...

meanwhile...

poor jj's stuck in MI3 purgatory...hope he can at least check in on the show while trying to survive what has got to be a nitemare directing experience. scientology tents anyone? sheesh!

Saw that too. Thought it must have been a joke, advertising on a show about a plane crash. Kinda like when those Google ads are wildly inappropriate, but perfectly on topic. The privacy statements leading to Disney's pages are nice, but the Inviso-Text is the best part:

<sigh> Man, this is such a good show. Having a unique perspective of watching the last 8 (or 10?) episodes or so, and now starting back with the beginning it all makes what I watch so much more magical and horrifying. SUCH a good show! I really hope that season 2 lives up to season 1.

I hate that you people keep resurrecting this thread - it makes waiting for the next season all that much more difficult. I, too, hope that season 2 is as good or better than the first one - the fact that we won't have such long gaps between new episodes should help, of course!

They did, and it pissed me off because I missed this one the first time. BT to the rescue. Not that I do that sort of thing, but I had to see what happened. Makes a lot more sense now. That's what you get ABC.

I'm glad the show is airing at 9pm as I get out of class at 7.30pm on Wednesday.

And I have nothing against adding some new characters to the show at the moment.

I'm hurting, my Wednesday night class starts at 8:30, ends at 11.. I'll be buying some VHS tapes I think.

It's necessary. Part of the fun is meeting a character, and then learning (sometimes gradually) their backstory. We've used that up for almost everyone we know so far. That's why I wasn't surprised to find new faces (most of which we haven't yet been introduced to) in the last few episodes last season. It's the freshman class.
