All, recently, and it could be with tvOS 18, I lost the ability to control my receiver volume with my AppleTV remote. I have already removed the device and set it back up again. Prior to a week or so ago it worked flawlessly. AppleTV 4k.

Restart the remote using the pertinent keys for your particular one.

I had no idea there was a restart for the remotes. Once restarted it worked as expected to raise volume but when I would lower the volume it would keep lowering it as if I was holding the button. Deleted the receiver and retrained it and now it works. Thanks again!
