Lost Wifi but have WiFi icons on devices

What does it mean when I loose Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi icon is showing on the display of my iPhone and iPad?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It normally means you’re still connected to your WiFi network but you do not have access to the internet.

I suggest restarting your wifi router, assuming you have access to that router
