I've seen one Apple sticker on a car in the past year, and that was at the Chsnut Hill Mall parking lot, I assume it was someone who works at the Apple store there.

My friend recently bought an iPod Shuffle and ended up putting on sticker in the center of his truck window and then gave the other to me. Mine went on my bookbag so everyone at school can see, since i'm sorta the ding-bat Apple Lover! :p Another one of my friends just won a Shuffle and he's giving me both the stickers that came with his. I'll have to find something to do with those.

I too live in Dallas, and I have noticed many more Apple Stickers on cars...speaking of which I'm going to put one on my mom's car since she finally made the "switch" and got an iBook.

If you ever see a grey Jeep Wrangler with a black hartop and large tires with an Apple sticker on the back window, that's me!

Yeah, but its a bummer they don't ship the stickers with the computers anymore.

I got some with my PowerBook. Ring Apple and ask them to send some to you. I am sure that they will - you just spent a few grand on one of their computers...

Yah well considering every iPod ships with a set of stickers....

I refuse to put it on my car until I actually get a Mac. I think its a cop out to use one if all you have is an iPod.

I did not get any apple sticker with my g4 ipod. Not like I would of put it on my car. It might of been slap on my computer case but not my car.

Depending on the sticker it makes the car look tachy. I have 2 sickres on my car. One is white sticker that Says Texas Tech Civil engineering put that the top of my back window and that one looks pretty good and the other is in the bottom corner of my back window and it a clear firefox sticker. It harder to see but it is slightly tachy but since it is hard to see I dont mind it.

I do plan on adding a double T Medalen to the back of my car but that is another store.

I think the apple sticker would just be tachy and would look out of place.

Here's my theory, for what it's worth...

I live in Australia, and there's hardly any Apple stickers on cars over here, but I too have been seeing a few more around lately.

I would suggest that it is more to do with Apple regaining mainstream popularity (because of the iPod), and so all the fringe geeks who love Apple but are kinda embarassed about putting a sticker on their car now feel that it's ok and kinda cool to have one.

Personally I don't mind being a geek, because I also have a Ban Comic Sans sticker on my car :)

Haha I'll make sure to look out for it!
I also plan to put one on my scooter as soon as I get it.

I didn't actually know that Apple included stickers with their computers until I read this thread :p

Now I just need to find a place to put them. Don't have a car, so that's no option, but I'll figure something out :)

That is awesome. Was it the lot on the same side as the Apple Store?

Peyote, my apologies. I too have started to see many more Apple stickers. But my reasoning is still sound. I do not have evidence, does anyone really both ways?

I have two apple stickers on each side of my car. One is the "classic" happy face, the other is the sad face. It's too bad nobody knows what this means these days.

I've never seen one in real life, but i have heard stories of the elusive sad mac face. HeHe I wouldn't have minded seeing one when I kernel panicked when my ibook needed a new logic board.

I want a sticker that has an Apple logo, then says,"My Inner Daemon", followed by a picture of Hexley , the mascot of Darwin, the Unix part of OS X. That I would buy.

I tied a Mac mini when it was first released and it came with the Apple stickers.

Here is my Baja with a sticker.

Between a 15" powerbook, 23" Cinema Display, 2 iPods (gen2 & 3), and an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard, I've received 0 apple stickers :(.

So my car is sticker-less.

Yeah, only new iPods and computers come with Apple stickers. I've received stickers for all my Macs starting with the original iMac. Maybe someone stole yours and you just didn't know.

Peyote, maybe it is my car that you saw, as I live in Dallas and have a white Apple sticker on my rear-driver's side window. Green corolla with nickel tinted windows.

I don't think so, but you never know...most of the time I am seeing the stickers headed northbound on 75.

Incidentally, based on the new statistics, I think the stickers being more abundant are a product of the iPods, but more mac users as well.

This link shows that Apple marketshare has grown 16% from the fourth quarter of 2004, from 2.6% to 3.7% now. I do think that's part of the sticker phenomenon
