Bought the 2020 base MBP and base MBA to "try" out both, for kid.
I know these machines aren't gaming laptops but when she plays Roblox the fan goes off nonstop until game ends. (MBP fan is quieter)

Is there any fix?
Is there a better Apple machine I can get to avoid this from happening?

thank you all.

Unless you go for a giant laptop like Alienware Area 51 with gigantic desktop class cooling or just a desktop like an imac, you will always get loud fan while playing any games that use iGPU or dGPU. Even PC laptops will have the same problem. They get thin and light by giving up heatsink mass and then use a small high speed fan to force airflow to cool the smaller heatsink.

I have a desktop gaming computer with gigantic heatsinks on the CPU and GPU and the fans hardly ever come on in light games like Roblox. It's much quieter than all my macbooks when even playing newer games like Fallen Order.

You could try Turbo Boost Switcher App. I got annoyed of the fan noise that would only come on when playing back an edit in the editing software I use. Now it's quiet. Might be different with Roblox, but it's free.
