I noticed a buzzing/ticking sound as mentioned in another thread. I opened it up and gave it a quick clean and look around and now the ticking sort of sound has stopped but still have the buzzing/whirling sound (as I heard 2 separate sounds before). I think it may be the fan as the sound is in that area, what could I do to fix it?

hmmm sounds more like you should take it into a mac store, it may be a faulty fan or a loose bearing you something??? i don't know how old it is but it may be under warranty?

you may also want to try adding a small quantity of lubricant to the fan?

Well I planned on taking it in tomorrow, just wondering if there was anything to try beforehand
