Anyone notice their home buttons are loud and clicky? I'm coming from a 5, which has a plastic non-touch Id button, so maybe this is the difference for me, but it definitely noticeable.

5S also has a clicky button. Since they both have Touch ID I think that's what causing it.

I checked some phones at the Apple Store. All seemed to be pretty loud--some clicks louder than others. What do other people see/hear?

The home button on my 6 has a nice snuck, snuck sound and feel. Like its spring loaded. Nicer than my previous 3 5s's and my previous 5 to that.

I notice that some presses there is one click and other pressed there are two clicks. Anyone else?

I've never experienced 2 clicks. Just a louder click.and a slightly wobbly button. I think its Touch ID. But my friends 5s wasn't as loud a click or as wobbly. I dunno though. It still works fine. And if it breaks.. My applecare+ has me covered.

I had 4 5s' replaced in one year due to this. When you can hear it crunch WITHOUT actually engaging/pressing the button take it to an Apple Store and ask them to compare to new one. It simply shouldn't do that.

I had the same problem on my iPhone 6. The home button had a loud clicking sound. Very annoying!! So I went to the Apple Store yesterday and gave me a new one no questions asked. The replacement is so much quieter.

I got mine swapped out today. Still has an occasional second click. I guess this is a new feature.

Mine started out perfect but now I notice a very very slight crunch about 5% of the time..button still works just fine. I would go swap it out but I'm afraid I'm just going to get another bad one or one with a yellow tinted screen this time..or maybe lines going down the screen..or maybe a clickly clacky screen...what to do what to do...

Home buttons can and will vary. Some are louder than others, even on the same model. My 6 is near silent but has a great tactile feedback. My 5S had a sharp click to it.

No, it's not. If it were normal behavior it would do it on all phones, from first use.

Exactly! Had my 6 Plus swapped out yesterday for a faulty display and before it had a soft click but after getting the display fixed it is loud basically 100% of the time...I'm getting tire of replacements/fixes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine has a louder click and is snappier than the ones on my iPads, but I prefer this. It seems more secure to me.
