Loud Rumbling Drive

I know this has been discussed before, but my superdrive in my MBP has gotten louder and louder recently. Has there been any tricks or modifications that will limit the noise? I know silence is impossible, but mine sounds like a weedwacker when it burns cds and dvds...

Maybe something is pressing down on the drive. Do you rest things on top of the drive?
