I have a week 38 model and its perfect. I love it. The best electronic device I've ever owned, besides my MBP of course

mines a week 40, jailbroke it, and i love it....

and dont be scared of jailbreaking, its nearly impossible to brick an ipod....

Mine is an un-hacked week 40 16gig unit. Love it. This is my first-ever Apple hardware device. I'm thinking of eventually upgrading to an iPhone once they come out with a faster Internet connection, better camera and - most importantly for me - a bigger storage capacity (8gig is too small for me since I use the device to watch recorded mpeg4 TV shows).

I got a week 39 iPod Touch, and I think the screen has a very little bit of that negative black screen problem... (caused by 1.1.1) and the WiFi sucks.

Other than that it rocks!
