Hey Guys -

I just got my first MacBook and it's awesome. The last computer I got was a 2011 iMac. I have a few questions and I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

1) How do I disable Flash? I never installed it but if I need to do anything else please let me know.

2) For Website Tracking can I click "Ask websites not to track me"? Will that slow anything up and do you guys recommend it?

3) Did I set up FileVault correctly? (Picture Attached)

4) What AdBlocker is the best one? I want something that's fast, works with YouTube and simple to use. I also don't like big plan white spaces when there's normally an Ad.

5) When I use key repeat it only works with the delete key...not any letters. Here are my current settings (picture attached).

6) Should I get AppleCare? How long do I have to purchase it and does it cover accidental damage?

Is there anything else I need to know or do?

I just know these two off hand:

1.) just don't install flash.
6.) you can buy apple care anytime in the first year, I believe.

I've had my rMB since Day One. I just bought AppleCare this week. At 266 cycles my battery is at 81% of capacity. It surely will need replacing almost yearly at this pace. I've had no other issues with the laptop at all but for $175 worth of AppleCare I only need a single battery replacement to be ahead of the game.

I use AdBlocker Plus. Free and works incredibly well.

You can use Click2Flash to eliminate all flash sites but I ended up playing most things with flash and got rid of it. It did work well, however.

3 cycles in...went down 5% in 1 day. So jacked up...
