Low Battery Mode help stutter?

    Hey there,

    I turned on low battery mode on my iphone 5c and the stutters and lag stopped. There is still a frustrating pause before I can press an app open from the app switcher sometimes, but overall it is not laggy and stuttery compared to when Low Power Mode is off.

    My theory right now is that the parallax (and transparency it seems from another thread) is causing slow down. Would y'all mind testing this theory for me and reporting back?

    (Also, I'm really happy that I can have the zoom in and out of apps again without the parallax. Remember we could do that on iOS 7.0? Unfortunately, you can only accomplish this with low power mode.)

    Only explanation would be that low power mode disables some of the fancy UI effects that might be causing the lag. Besides that, it actually decreases CPU power which would actually benefit lags.

    Wow, my 6+ is super smooth with LBM. Tried to disable transparency but that didn't make it as smooth as this.

    Great! LBM = Low Lag Mode? :D

    Any other experiences from others? Need more data input...

    Yeah, kind of counter intuitive. You would think that lowering the processor would add more lag...
