I get notifications on my phone when my watch battery hits 100%. I thought I read or saw somewhere that you get a notification when the Watch hits 30% to remind you to charge so you have enough juice for sleep tracking. Am I imagining this or is there a setting I’m missing. Thanks.

That only happens when sleep tracking is set-up.

and i believe it only happens a few hours before your set sleep time also...

From my experience it happens 1 hour before the set sleep time. If the watch is <30% at that point then you will get a notification. If the watch is >30% at that point, but falls under 30% after that point then you will not be notified. Apparently they feel that 30% is enough to make it through the one hour before sleep and then through the rest of the night.

i've had an AW0, AW3, AW4 and now AW6. never have i kept an old watch until this year... game changer. i know not everyone can or wants to do this but using 2 AW's is easy as can be and they seamlessly combine all data as you take one off and put another on. i use my AW6 (SG) for 80% of the day and usually just use my AW4 (SBSS) in the evening for an hour or two as I charge my AW6. I also use it if I plan on doing something "rough" on the watch like yard work not only because it has a sapphire screen but frankly because its my "old watch". In the future when the AW6 becomes my "old" watch and I have a new model I'll still wear it for rough stuff with its ionX screen because i won't care too much about scratches at that point.

having 2 watches at this point makes everything seamless. no battery worries, heck if i just totally forget to ever charge my AW6 I can just wear my AW4 to bed. something to consider as more and more of us look to upgrade from older AWs and realize there just isn't much resale value so we might as well keep them to make our lives easier.
