20" iMac is now the low end. And at refurb prices it is about $1,049. However the white iMacs came in a 17" edition with integrated graphics like the MacBook and Mini and did not include Superdrive or remote as well as less RAM and smaller Hard Drive. I think the current 20" iMac is the same price as those were, but you could probably get one used for $600 or so.
 
What means low end iMac?

"Low-end iMac" just means that it's the iMac that's usually the cheapest and has the least amount of power, specs, etc. If you're looking at the iMacs on the online Apple store, it should be the iMac on the very left (the cheapest one).
