Low geekbench & compute score

Hi greetings,

recently i feel like my macbook air 13 inch 2020 (i5 ver) is getting laggy and hot even i am just surfing net using safari, and theres some random flickering effect while i am playing games, out of curiosity i ran a geekbench & compute test few times just now and got the same low score result, is there any problem with my machine?

if i am not wrong, this model should be getting at least 2900+ multi score & 8000 above compute score

Have you looked in Activity Monitor to see how busy your CPU is?

Nope the score are quite correct. maybe you have something running, check with Activity Monitor.
Air 2020 i5 multiscore = 2646, single core = 1056

my machine used to have the score of 2800+, i ran the test after i restart actually so nothing really running in background except window server or kernel task
