Hey All,

I am looking to either buy or build a low power computer that requires the ability to power 4 HD displays along with having the need for a significantly large processor (i.e. at least 2.5GHz dual core). Any advice on lower power systems? It needs to be run from a deep cycle battery with an inverter, so energy efficiency is key.

Thanks

There aren't any low power machines that do this. You'll need a high end quad output card or SLI/crossfire http://www.multi-monitors.com/SUPER_PC_Dual_Monitor_Video_Cards_Multi_Screen_Graphics_s/1914.htm

This requires a large power supply, on the order of 500 Watts, and dual video cards, which almost no store bought computers have, not to mention the high end processor you want. It's better to get two higher resolution monitors rather than 4 HD monitors, or a security monitor.

He does not need sli/crossfire to drive 4 displays.
