The last few weeks I recognize that the low power mode, which should increase the standby, nothing change at my batterie trend in the settings app. It doesn't matter if i use it ore not. The batterie discharge is still the same.
Since 12.1.2 the discharge feels much more faster. But subjectiv!
If I remember a few month ago, when I used the low power mode, the discharge in the settings app was visible lower (yellow part) than without.
Does anybody have the same experieces?

Just curious, do you know what the purpose of low power mode is? It’s more about battery preservation when you want to conserve with minimal alterations like the screen brightness, slowing the performance, etc. If you’re really concerned about low power mode not working properly, then you have plenty of other options by disabling Hey Siri, adjusting the haptic control, etc.

Apple describe it like: "When Low Power Mode is on, your iPhone will last longer before you need to charge it, but some features might take longer to update or complete." I marked it on my screen shoot. The current discharge with low power mode shows no changes in the "curve". But I remember there was a significant change in the curve by using the low power mode. In this status, there is no need to use the low power mode because the discharge speed doesnt change.

Discharge could have been worse during that time when Low Power Mode was used if it wasn't being used. It also depends on usage and if you aren't really using much of what Low Power Mode changes then the difference might not be much either (since it would almost be like you are already using Low Power Mode based on your typical settings and usage).

Disagree! Because Apple describes the low power mode with following attributes:
Low Power Mode reduces or affects these features:
  • Email fetch
  • "Hey Siri"
  • Background app refresh
  • Automatic downloads
  • Some visual effects
  • Auto-Lock (defaults to 30 seconds)
  • iCloud Photo Library (temporarily paused)
Only the disabled background refresh should save power. Also the Backlight etc.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I can remember that the LPM enlarge the standby and standby means, I do nothing with the phone.
