Low power mode on desktop Macs

Has anybody done any experiments with Low Power Mode on desktop machines? Curious to see if there's any dramatic power savings in any data gathered already.

To my knowledge this option doesn't even exist on desktop Macs and iPads, it's iPhone and MacBook only.

There isn't on my Mac Studio, that whole "Battery" tab isn't there.

That’s an iPad screen. The original poster said that power saving mode wasn’t available for ipads

You set from the Terminal via:

pmset lowpowermode 1

You already seem to be ahead of the crowd. Do test and report back the behavior if it's reducing active cores and/or clocks and resulting package power difference.
