Upon updating to the newest version of iTunes, the program scanned through my library making thumbnails of all my album covers. Now I've installed iOS4 I see (what I presume to be) these thumbnails are being used on the track listing for each album, which is fair enough, only the thumbnails themselves are not of a high enough resolution for the size they're being displayed. It looks as though these are the thumbnails intended for the album list rather than the track list. As you can see the full screen image quality is fine, only the thumbnails are blurry. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?
all the pictures in my photos album are very blurry, but in my saved photos album they are still clear... i dont get it.
I added a new album later today, after installing iOS4, and its thumbnail came out fine. Is there a way to force a rebuild of the thumbnail library?
THUMBNAILS ARE NOT BLURRY ANYMORE? How? Here's why: Guys, what I did to take out the blurry artwork thumbnails is to: 1. Back-Up iPod 2. Press RESTORE on iTunes in the iPod window.. 3. The iPod will restart. 4. It will re-install the back-up and re-sync all content (media). After it's done... (next) 5. Now when you check your album artwork thumbnails... it's now CLEAR. It worked on mine.
They are perfect on mine. I think it's because I did not restore from a backup but rather set it up as a new device. I did this to avoid such issues.
Click Restore in iTunes but when it asks if you would like to restore from a backup just say no and click Set Up As New Device.
I dont have an ipod touch yet. I've heard that restores are difficult to do, but i guess not, thanks.
