iPod touch Low volume in my new IPOD Touch

Hi,

I bought the ipod touch a couple of days back. I noticed that the volume (speaker) and some new age music on my earphone is kind of low even when the volume button on left hand side of the touch is maximum volume.

Any tips on how to increase volume of both speaker and headphones?

go to Settings, Music, then Volume Limit. see if you have a low volume limit. if you do, just make it higher

Is it just that song/album or all of them?

Thanks for the reply guys, I have a few albums in the ipod of new age music and all of them sound low. I don't have volume limit set in the ipod (I checked). Anymore tips? Thanks!

have you tired a different pair of headphones? maybe the headphones you are using are broken

Often, if you illegally downloaded the music, the audio levels can be low. Mostly because people are recording from another source. That's just what I've heard.

No the music is purchased from emusic. Nothing wrong with the music but somehow they all (new age music mostly) sound very low volume.
