    Hi,

I bought the ipod touch a couple of days back. I noticed that the volume (speaker) and some new age music on my earphone is kind of low even when the volume button on left hand side of the touch is maximum volume.

Any tips on how to increase volume of both speaker and headphones?

    Thanks,

    Shankar

go to Settings, Music, then Volume Limit. see if you have a low volume limit. if you do, just make it higher

Often, if you illegally downloaded the music, the audio levels can be low. Mostly because people are recording from another source. That's just what I've heard. ;)

No the music is purchased from emusic. Nothing wrong with the music but somehow they all (new age music mostly) sound very low volume.
