just pull a bit harder. it has clips that help hold it in place in the middle.
Thanks =)
Worked like a charm. No damage.
This was my first time opening a Macbook Pro and I wanted to get the feel for things and also clean my fans. I had a feeling they were a bit dusty...
There was a film of dust on the "black/non-conductive" section of the lower case.
I'm running a few degrees cooler now =)
University Dorm Room + one-way central heating/air conditioning = LOTS OF DUST!
My mac sounds much happier now =)
Edit: How tight should the lower case screws be? I don't want them too tight and risk permanently bending the lower case or too loose and give the lower case too much "play and give"
