For all of us that grew up with vinyl, it would be a very cool thing if iTunes had a mode that would overlay LP style pops and crackles on tracks.

For all of us that ever had a toothache, wouldn't it be great if there was a way to relive that feeling?

I know that some people prefer vinyl. But pops and crackles are _not_ the reason for that. And if you want, you can buy a turntable with a USB connector, and record LPs straight into iTunes. Use Apple Lossless compression, and all the pops and crackles will be reproduced at the best possible quality.
