LSI RAID cards bootable to BootCamp ?

I use Areca ARC-1210 for my Windows 7 on BootCamp array, but it's a little bit to slow for my 4 SSD's. It's working great even when flashed with normal PC BIOS.

I would like to use LSI RAID card and I need to know if it's bootable only under Windows. I don't need this array under Mac OS Lion.

Anyone is using LSI controllers in Mac Pro ? They're preety cheap.

IIRC, some of the newer LSI cards have EFI firmware available to them, so those should work in a MP running Windows. But I can't recall anyone testing it.

What are you trying to do exactly?
