LTE... Better reception/building penetration?

Hello,
I have an iPhone 4 from AT&T. In my area, Verizon wireless offers better reception (except in my office where AT&T works best). AT&T 3G service offers faster speeds (but terrible reception along the main route of my commute. I have numbers spots where i drop calls and/or switch to EDGE)
I am considering either the new iPhone or the Galaxy SIII. Does LTE offer any better coverage/building penetration? Id like to switch to Verizon but it currently doesnt enter our building where AT&T does just fine.

In general LTE signals in the ~700 MHz range will offer better building penetration, but it really depends on the building.
