30 vs 5 mbps

That’s because that’s how Verizon is at the moment in most areas. Except Ultra wide band which is 1000mbps +

T-Mobile here LTE at home is around 11mbps. While 5G is 90mbps.

In town LTE is around 70-100mbps. While 5G is 200-250mbps. Huge difference.

I cant quite believe I am seeing these results, I NEVER got even close to these speeds with Verizon. I switched to AT&T recently with the new iPhone and boom - LTE 40-80 mbps (home and work area), 5G over 100 mbps easy when roaming around town.
Verizon coverage was so bad that my phone would literally drop battery searching for network and would take literally ages to load. I am not sure if its something to do with the radios on the newer phones, but AT&T coverage has been pretty fantastic for me

LTE seems quick enough when it works for me. My iPhone 11 Pro Max is on AT&T, and in certain spots on my street it toggles from 5GE, to LTE, to 4G. LTE and 4G are slower than EDGE. I know 5GE is just a misleading term by ATT, but I’d rather have better coverage of LTE rather than faster spottier coverage of real 5G.

Speeds very similar for me on AT&T. I have been very lucky not to have experienced any dropped calls or connectivity issues. I received my pro max on launch day, November 13th. I’m very happy with it.

I’m on Verizon and where I am in the D/FW area, 5G is usually a touch faster than LTE. Sometimes 5G is substantially faster, though it is often close, and there have been some instances where LTE is little bit faster.

Really just depends.

That said, I was waiting for some food curbside tonight and noticed I was on UW and got over 2,000.

I noticed that in South Florida my SE 2020 on the T-Mobile network is so close to my wife's iPhone 12 on the same network. If there is a difference it is minimal. I am hoping Apple eventually makes an SE 2021 with 5G. I would gladly pay $500 for it. I know eventually 5G will make LTE look slow but I do not want to part with Touch ID and a perfectly sized 4.7 inch screen (imo).

I got WB on Verizon on Midway road about quarter mile from 635 while driving. I was surprised.
